BDK — Business Development Kazakhstan — is a local operating partner for foreign companies launching projects in Kazakhstan. We take a project from the first question to a working business, under one project manager and one contract.

Why BDK exists
Foreign companies don't fail in Kazakhstan because the law is hard. They fail because nobody on the ground is accountable for the outcome.
A typical entry means coordinating a lawyer, an accountant, a registration agent, a property broker, a customs broker, a recruiter and a translator — each responsible for a piece, none for the result. BDK exists to be the one partner that is.

Legal work is handled in-house. Contractors for regulated work are selected, contracted and supervised by us.

Responsibility
Where our responsibility ends
Decisions of authorities and banks
Permits, licences, incentives, visas and bank accounts are decided by state bodies and banks. We prepare the case and support it; we do not control the outcome.
Regulated work
Court representation, statutory audit and customs clearance are performed by licensed providers we engage and supervise, under your single contract with BDK.
